Last night was an amazing suprise for me. As I finally achieved something I have been struggling with for some time now. Getting ranked #1 when you search for daniel roop. You wouldn’t think this would be a problem, unless of course there is a poet who happens to have the same name as you. Well poet, I win for now, and I took a screen shot to remember it forever.

As you can see, I too am named Daniel Roop. Congrats on your #1 ranking. If you’re curious, I live in Moncton, NB, CANADA
Congratulations! This is a momentous day for anyone who’s not a Knoxville poet. Just don’t let it go to your head and start walking around calling yourself “The Official” Daniel Roop.
I just typed by name and found your site. My name is Roopkumar from India. I am writing a Blog on MGR since December 2005. Any suggestions to be No.1 in Search result? please forward
@Roopkumar
Unfortunately I don’t really have any tricks to share with you. I noticed my rank went way up when I took a few suggestions from Adam Fortuna on SEO. Most imporant write content that someone will care about. I started writing about all the development stuff I deal with on a daily basis, and my ranking started to go up.
That being said, I have no idea what actually ended up working. I think it is all magic.
